I'm not sure if that's how it works. The rank of the scroll is for how difficult it is to get good plays on the song. Your own music theory skill is what determines whether or not you get training for playing songs. And most training scrolls are completely blank.

For the best chance to get great success you need to play scores with a difficulty of 2 ranks above your Playing rank. The rank of the score scroll you compose is the same as your Music knowledge rank. So because I've got r7 Musical Knowledge it's not possible for me to do it myself, so I need someone to compose some training scrolls for my who's got rB Musical Knowledge. Also a training score takes a couple of sec to complete, so it's allot faster training.

Well considering the cost/benefit of the situation, it would be better to just make a totally blank scroll yourself to practice with rather than wait till someone with rank b just so happens to see this thread.

It would cost you A)Unescessary time and B) 5000 gold

All that for what might end up extending the time of your training. Keep in mind that playing instrument requires either failures or mediocre sucesses as well as great sucesses. Any great sucesses after the requirement will no longer train you.

In other words, it would be faster, easier, and cheaper to just compose a scroll with no music at all and train with that, than to go through all the trouble of a premium specially tailored scroll that might end up getting you more great sucesses than you need.

(Trust me, you'll get plenty of great sucesses just by playing a blank scroll. And even if you don't, you can just start training with a scroll that's nothing but a tuning note.)

The time isn't really an issue, I didn't really expect anyone to answer anytime soon. There's way to few Alexina players on this forum.

And for the cost/benefit, I think the benefit of running Ciar Adv. are much greater Ap, gold and time wise than trying to rank playing with just fails and successes. And playing is low on the priority list when it comes to AP, so I'm in no rush to rank it up.

I did a test and made a r7 training score with v0a And my results were:
After 100 plays I had 8 successes and 8 very good successes. So 84% fail. Ironically enough that was just what I needed to finish the rank But the parts before that I trained with a rC training score. Sorry Rain, you were half right here
