Because the shirt under Nao's alchemist coat on the "cover" is so close to Nao's skin color, at first glance I thought Nexon finally went all-out and started using obscene drawings of Nao.

I'd launch into a rant about the sexism in Mabinogi (A lot of the female characters having titanic breasts, some of the female characters being stereotypes, ETC) but I don't want to derail this topic.

On-topic. the golem skill looks like it'll be a nice skill. From what I've heard, you can hide where monsters can't get you and then summon the golem and kill with it. Still, losing control of your character sounds risky. Still, the golem skill is useless in a lot of situations so chances are it's going to be one of those gimmicky skills.

^ I quite Disagree. Any time a pet would be helpful (which is, for practical purposes*, all the time) the golem would be useful as well. Combine the golem with taming and a pet and you've all but transformed yourself into a complete badass.

Just in case you misunderstood, you don't HAVE to take mental control over the golem. You can let it run around on its own AI.
I also don't think Mabinogi is sexist. All men have broad shoulders, are thin, and have defined muscles ('cept gilmore), is that sexist? Mabinogi is a fantasy life. Do you go around eating cheese so you can have thunderous thighs, just to be more down to earth? Most females in Mabinogi don't really have large breasts anyway (Lassar, Caitlin, Kristell, Jocelyn, Fleta, etc.). Nao is an exeption though.
*excluding novel situations where you don't want anything attacking at all such as skipping orb rooms

Ohey guys, just saw the site was back up.

So, with the date on the cover, I have 1 week to finally bother to beat the crap out of Crumena if I want an easier than easy time for G9 story. First thing I'm going to do: Get Alchemy Mastery to rank 6, which will be hell, but it'll be helpful when I start to rank Spike Wall and Summon Golem.... and everything else.

Oh, I misunderstood. I thought that you had to take control of the golem and it had no AI of it's own. In that case I take back the part about the skill not being very useful.

And I'll say this even though I dislike derailing topics.

Mabinogi has a lot of stereotype sexualized female characters such as Kusinia, who falls under the "Big-breasted villager" stereotype, and Osla in Emain Macha, who falls under the "Chesty blond bimbo" stereotype. Mabinogi has a few other NPCs that fall under such stereotypes, but I don't feel like mentioning them.

Oh, and then there's the fact that Mabinogi doesn't allow same-sex marriage. Try to defend that one.
